As we grow and evolve, we’re looking for enthusiastic Bar Attendants to join our casual team and help us create something special.

Position Summary

As a Bar Attendant at Salt Bar, you’ll be more than just a bartender – you’ll be a key part of the guest experience. You’ll craft delicious cocktails, share your knowledge, and help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like a local. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves hospitality, enjoys being creative, and wants to grow their skills in a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages with care, flair, and consistency

• Engage with guests, offer recommendations, and share your passion for drinks and hospitality

• Deliver friendly, attentive, and personalised service that makes every guest feel special

• Build rapport with regulars and contribute to a positive, community-focused vibe

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar at all times

• Follow all RSA, OH&S, and venue procedures to ensure a safe and responsible environment

• Assist with inventory, restocking, and basic prep as needed

• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly

• Support the team with opening and closing duties, and pitch in wherever needed

Requirements

• Current RSA certification

• Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred, especially in cocktail making (but we’re happy to train the right person!)

• Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills

• Passion for delivering great service and making people feel welcome

• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and get creative

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

• Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
